Green Isle Residential Home, is a newly built family run care home for the elderly.

It is a two storey building located in the quiet fishing village of Portavogie, on the Ards Peninisula and is set on the shoreline with superb unrestricted views of the sea.

Two hundred yards down the road is the Portavogie Harbour where the fishing boats land their catch and take refuge at night.

There is also the Quays Restaurant which is famous far and wide for its wonderful cuisine, and in the nearby village of Cloughey is Kirkistown Golf Club.

Facing the home is a chemist shop, community centre and a Chinese restaurant incorporating a Bed and Breakfast.
